Oran Kwon教授是梨花女子大学营养科学和食品管理系生物食品研究团队的全职教授。她曾担任会聚临床与公共卫生研究生院院长、健康科学会聚研究中心主任、生物食品网络中心主任。她目前的研究是利用高通量的组学技术和人类临床试验中的生物信息学技术,研究植物性食品中多组分与健康之间的协同作用。她在伊娃女子大学完成了博士学位,并在美国国立卫生研究院接受过博士后和研究员培训,主要研究维生素C和黄酮类化合物。在2008年加入梨花女子大学之前,她在KFDA做了18年的高级研究员。近10年来,她是100多个科学出版物(SCI期刊)的主要研究者。目前,她是韩国营养学会和ILSI韩国分会的会长。她还曾是许多组织和委员会的科学理事会成员,包括国际饮食/食品补充联盟、总理办公室、农业部、食品和农村事务部、卫生和福利部以及食品和药品安全部。
Oran Kwon, is a Full Professor of BioFood
Research team in the Department of Nutritional Science and Food Management,
Ewha Womans University. She served as dean of the Graduate School of Converging
Clinical & Public Health; director of Health Science Convergence Research
Center; and director of BioFood Network Center. Her current research is
investigating synergistic interactions between multi-components in plant foods
and health using high-throughput omics technologies and bioinformatics
techniques in human clinical trials. She has completed her Ph. D. at the Ewha
Womans University and experienced post-doc and research fellow training in US
National Institutes of Health, focusing on vitamin C and flavonoids. Before
joining at Ewha in 2008, she had been working at KFDA for 18 years as a senior
researcher. She has been the primary investigator of over 100 scientific publications
(SCI Journals) in recent 10 years. Currently, she is the president of Korea
Nutrition Society and ILSI Korea. She also has been a scientific board member
of many organizations and committees including the International Alliance of
Dietary/Food Supplement, Prime Minister’s Office, Ministry of Agriculture,
Food, and Rural Affairs, Ministry of Health and Welfare, and Ministry of Food
and Drug Safety.
